Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Manager, Business Operations to own budget, vendor, and hardware operations across Core IT, guiding SaaS spend, license management, and vendor contracts.

You'll lead a small team, collaborate with IT, finance, and business units, and build processes that scale as we expand globally. Remote-friendly role with explicit flexibility, supporting multiple regions and continued operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in vendor management, SaaS ops, or IT business ops.
• Experience managing people and growing a small team.
• Experience coordinating across IT, finance, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own SaaS budget, forecasting, and license management across Core IT.
• Own vendor management for SaaS and hardware contracts.
• Oversee hardware and logistics across multiple regions, including procure and budget.
• Manage and develop direct reports and grow the function.
• Collaborate with analysts on requirements, process design, and support.
• Establish operating rhythm: budget tracking, renewals, and spend visibility.
• Partner with IT, Sales, and R&D on platform backlog and renewals.
• Embed Samsara's cultural principles as we scale globally.
