Job summary

InStride Health is seeking a Manager of IT to lead our technology operations, owning the operating rhythm for core workplace systems and guiding a team of IT specialists. You will standardize processes, drive automation, and serve as the senior escalation point to ensure reliable support during company growth.

You will oversee IAM, MDM, cloud collaboration, and cloud telephony, while partnering with Security and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• : 5+ years in IT operations and systems administration with people-management experience.
• Deep knowledge of identity administration including RBAC, SSO/SCIM and provisioning automation.
• Hands-on experience managing macOS fleets (~400 endpoints) using MDM and cloud collaboration platforms.
• Proven ability to build operational dashboards and metrics for leadership on ticket SLAs and license utilization.
• Experience operating in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2) and gathering IT audit evidence.
• Strong cross-functional communication and ability to write clear runbooks for technical and non-technical staff.
• Familiarity with cloud telephony (Zoom Phone) or Jira Service Management; CRM tools like Zoho.
• Practical experience applying AI tools to IT operations in a secure, compliant setting.

Responsibilities

• Run the IT Team operating rhythm with sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, ticket hygiene, and SLA tracking.
• Directly supervise and develop the IT support team and drive professional growth.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Own IAM platforms (Okta), RBAC design, SSO/SCIM integrations, and provisioning automation.
• Administer cloud collaboration platforms and MDM for device compliance and zero-touch deployment.
• Manage cloud telephony and collaboration tools (Zoom Phone, Slack, Jira Service Management routing).
• Convert onboarding requests into automated self-service workflows.
• Build IT operational dashboards and data structures for day-to-day operations.
• Reconcile software licenses against headcount to monitor SaaS costs.
• Partner with Security on access reviews and audit evidence for compliance.
• Implement AI capabilities in IT operations while maintaining compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Clinical, Commercial, and Engineering on onboarding/offboarding and runbooks.
