Job summary

InStride Health is seeking a Manager of IT to lead our IT operations and security posture in a fully remote role. You will own the IT operating rhythm, supervise the IT support team, and act as the senior escalation point for complex issues.

The role focuses on automation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across HR, Clinical, and Engineering. You will manage IAM (RBAC, SSO/SCIM), macOS endpoints, cloud collaboration, and cloud telephony tools while ensuring HIPAA/SOC 2 compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT operations and systems administration with people-management experience.
• Deep mastery of enterprise identity administration (RBAC, SSO/SCIM, provisioning automation).
• Hands-on management of macOS fleets (~400 endpoints) using MDM and cloud collaboration platforms (Kandji, Google Workspace).
• Experience building operational dashboards and data-driven leadership reporting.
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2) and security/audit practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Team operating rhythm: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, ticket hygiene, SLA tracking.
• Supervise and develop IT support staff with clear direction and growth opportunities.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex issues and root-cause analysis.
• Own IAM platforms including RBAC design, SSO/SCIM integrations, automation workflows.
• Manage cloud collaboration platforms and MDM for device compliance and zero-touch deployment.
• Oversee cloud telephony and collaboration tools (Zoom Phone, Slack, Jira Service Management, Zoho).
• Automate onboarding/access requests through self-service workflows.
• Build IT operational dashboards and reports to optimize day-to-day operations.
• Monitor software licenses against headcount to control SaaS costs.
• Collaborate with Security for access reviews and audit evidence; support compliance cycles.
• Explore and implement AI capabilities to boost IT throughput and SLAs.
• Partner with HR, Clinical, Commercial, and Engineering on onboarding/offboarding and runbooks.
