Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking an experienced IT leader to drive global endpoint management, procurement, and identity governance across a remote-first organization. You will mentor a distributed IT team, build automation, and align IT operations with exploration technology needs.

You will oversee Okta, Google Workspace, and security tooling while managing the software budget and strategic vendor relationships. Travel to field sites is expected as part of leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT engineering/management with hands-on depth and operational ownership.
• Experience with MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune) and policy configuration.
• Identity and access management (Okta), including SSO and SCIM provisioning.
• Proven experience in software procurement, renewals, and budget ownership.
• Hands-on experience building zero-touch provisioning and automation workflows.
• Experience supporting global teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT support staff and set technical direction for global endpoint management.
• Oversee software procurement lifecycle and annual budget with renewals visibility.
• Own Okta administration, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and lifecycle automation.
• Manage Google Workspace administration, licenses, and security settings.
• Drive fleet monitoring, device lifecycle, and remote-site IT operations.
• Mentor team, develop training and onboarding programs, and ensure high execution standards.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and security on cross‑functional IT initiatives.
