Nourish, Inc. is seeking a hands-on IT Operations professional to own day-to-day IT across our device fleet, identity stack, and SaaS ecosystem. You’ll join as the second IT hire, building on a strong foundation and scaling as we grow from hundreds to more than 800 employees.

The role is full-time and open to NYC, SF, or remote candidates, with occasional in-office work if based near NYC or SF. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and People teams and help drive secure, efficient IT operations.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of IT operations or systems administration experience, preferably at a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on Okta administration with SSO/SCIM and HRIS-driven lifecycle.
• Experience administering at least one MDM platform (Iru/Kandji, Jamf, or Intune).
• Experience handling a high-volume support queue on a small IT team and shipping improvements.
• Automation-first mindset: remove manual steps and streamline processes.
• End-to-end ownership from first Slack ping to root cause and follow-up.
• Willingness to work remotely or in person and adapt to shifting needs.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary owner of IT support: triage, resolve, and close the loop quickly, then eliminate repeat requests through automation or process improvements
• Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end for employees and contractors
• Manage device lifecycle: procurement and logistics with hardware partner enrollment and MDM in Iru (Mac) and Intune (Windows)
• Administer Okta (SSO, SCIM, group rules), Google Workspace, Slack, and a broad SaaS stack
• Build automations that cut IT toil using Okta Workflows and IT automation & AI help desk tooling
• Keep identity data clean in partnership with People Ops (ADP attributes drive downstream access)
• Provide support for NYC and SF offices, including networking (UniFi) and conference rooms
• Write documentation and KB articles for self-service
• Support SOC 2 and HITRUST controls you own, plus periodic access reviews
