Job summary

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Information Technology Specialist/Multimedia Developer to support the development and modernization of interactive U.S. Navy training products.

This position will be located in Pensacola, FL, and will be a remote position. You will transform approved instructional designs into Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), build Level 2+ training using Adobe Captivate and HTML5, and ensure SCORM compliance across LMS environments while collaborating with the

Qualifications

• Clearance required: Secret.
• Relevant professional experience to meet contract labor-category requirements.
• Experience developing interactive multimedia or web-based training products.
• Experience using interactive authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or comparable software.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and web-based development technologies.
• Experience with SCORM packaging, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online course deployment.
• Experience translating instructional storyboards into functional multimedia products.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust access to Navy networks and training systems.

Responsibilities

• Transform approved instructional designs into engaging IMI.
• Build IMI Level 2+ interactive training solutions using modern authoring environments.
• Develop courseware using tools such as Adobe Captivate.
• Create native HTML5 content for customized interactions.
• Collaborate with Technical Lead on complex multimedia solutions.
• Integrate products with Government Learning Management Systems.
• Package and validate courseware per SCORM requirements.
• Prepare products for GCAT and QA testing.
• Troubleshoot SCORM, LMS, browser, and integration issues.
• Ensure compatibility across required environments and platforms.
• Maintain source-file configuration and development assets.
