Advocate Health is offering a remote IT Internship in our Human Resource Information Systems and Information Technology teams for May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027. Interns will work up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, during standard business hours.

Remote work is limited to residents of certain states including NH. Responsibilities include IT configuration, application support, and liaison tasks among operations, users, and vendors, with a focus on data integrity and system availability.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• IT intern may research unusual bugs or issues faced by the company.
• Support IT team in maintenance of hardware, software and systems.
• Assist experienced analysts with conversions, updates and recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues (printers, computers, servers).
• Run software updates and backups when requested.
• Research hosting options and report pricing and options.
• Assist development of new desktops, servers or applications.
• Help track calls and document customer interactions to meet KPI.
