Job summary

Advocate Health IT Internship provides practical work experiences in HRIS/IT. The intern will learn IT config, implementation, support and maintenance to meet operational needs. The role acts as a liaison between clinical operations, IT, and vendors, ensuring effective system operations.

The department will develop job standards for the internship and provide mentorship within a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5; strong written and verbal communication.
• No prior experience required; interest in HRIS/IT internship.

Responsibilities

• Research unusual bugs or issues the company encounters.
• Support IT team in maintenance of hardware and software.
• Assist in conversions, updates, recovery procedures, and assessments.
• Troubleshoot printers, computers, and servers.
• Run software updates and backups as requested.
• Assist with call tracking system and KPI adherence.
• Review data integrity and perform data analysis for requirements.
