Advocate Health is seeking an Administrative Intern for a summer term to gain hands-on experience in healthcare administration. The intern may rotate across site and system Administration or Operations and will access wide areas to learn operations, strategy, and project work.

The role emphasizes data collection, program development, and delivering meaningful outputs under leadership guidance. Current graduate enrollment, GPA 2.5+, and strong communication and Excel skills are required; remote

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with graduate level status at a regional accredited college or university, preferably CAHME accredited.
• Grade point average of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to progress and deliverables.
• Join the work unit to carry out rotations, using internal and external resources to achieve goals.
• Develop healthcare management skills while collaborating with physicians and administrative staff across Advocate Health.
