Job summary

Benepass, Inc. is seeking an IT & Identity Manager to lead the IT function, owning identity, SaaS operations, and automation. This hands-on role partners with Engineering, People Operations, Security, and Finance to translate business needs into clear IT priorities.

You will balance strategic ownership with day-to-day execution, ensure reliable IT services, and contribute to scalable processes while attending on-site events a few times a year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems, identity, or SaaS administration.
• Strong hands-on Okta administration and identity governance.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and coaching staff.
• Ownership of SaaS administration, licensing, and data governance.
• Proficiency with APIs and scripting (Python, shell).
• Ability to define support processes and metrics.
• Clear communication and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT roadmap, identity, and SaaS operations.
• Manage Okta, HRIS integration, and automated provisioning.
• Oversee Google Workspace and Jamf device management.
• Lead onboarding, role changes, and offboarding with People Ops.
• Set support priorities, SLAs, and escalation paths.
• Establish scalable IT processes and documentation.
• Design workflows using APIs and Okta Workflows.
