Job summary

Benepass is seeking an IT & Identity Manager to own the IT function, oversee identity governance, and manage our SaaS portfolio and endpoints. You will partner with Engineering, People Operations, Security, and Finance to turn business needs into implementable IT priorities.

This hands-on, high-ownership role requires balancing strategic guidance with day-to-day execution, including capacity planning and scalable process design. Remote-friendly in the United States or Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems, identity, or SaaS administration with ownership of services or programs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Okta administration, Workflows, Identity Governance, SSO integrations, and automated identity lifecycle management.
• Experience setting priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering cross-functional projects with accountability.
• Ownership of SaaS administration, licensing, integrations, and data governance, plus practical expertise with Jamf Pro and Google Workspace Admin for Mac and Chromebook environments.
• Proficiency with APIs and scripting and experience building, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational workflows.
• Ability to define support processes, service targets, asset controls, and useful operational metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT roadmap, priorities, and operating processes; set measurable goals and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Own identity governance and automated provisioning/deprovisioning; maintain reliable identity data and SSO integrations.
• Oversee the reliability and lifecycle of our SaaS portfolio and managed devices, including Google Workspace and Jamf.
• Manage onboarding, role changes, and offboarding with People Operations; define responsibilities and approvals.
• Set support priorities, response targets, escalation paths; track backlog and service performance.
• Establish clear IT processes, documentation, and standards to enable scalable execution.
• Design and deliver reliable workflows using APIs, scripting, and platforms like n8n.
