Job summary

San Diego County Credit Union is hiring a Technical Support Specialist I to deliver frontline IT service desk support remotely across departments and branches. You will resolve issues, install and configure software, and manage user accounts in Active Directory with a focus on customer service.

You should have a diploma or equivalent experience, enterprise Windows/Office skills, and basic networking. Prior service desk experience and familiarity with Teams/Zoom are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• A+ certification or 2 additional years of relevant work experience may be considered.
• 2 years of experience supporting PC systems, hardware and software in a professional setting.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office and Outlook at enterprise level.
• Basic networking knowledge and imaging for desktops/laptops.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and resolve IT service desk requests.
• Provide technical support to all departments and branches.
• Escalate requests and provide status updates to users.
• Install and support PCs, phones, and other equipment; configure software applications.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and other apps.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, email, and mobile devices.
• Assist with initial configuration of new equipment and software.
• Handle endpoint management tasks and telecom duties as needed.
