iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This role is remote for candidates within a 4-hour drive of Milwaukee, with weekly onsite inspections at the Milwaukee manufacturing facility and urgent on-site support as needed. The candidate will provide Level 1 remote help desk support, troubleshoot PCs, printers, networks, and software, assist with onboarding, and coordinate with the Shanghai IT team for after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or MSP environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, networking, and common apps.
• Basic LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and endpoint management understanding.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to Milwaukee site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 remote IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, networks, software, and basic hardware.
• Support onboarding, software installation, account setup, and access issues.
• Monitor and escalate network, firewall, switch issues to technical teams.
• Conduct weekly/bi-weekly onsite inspections at the Milwaukee facility.
• Provide onsite support for urgent factory IT incidents when required.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and documentation.
• Follow IT support procedures, SLAs, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate with the Shanghai IT team for after-hours escalation.
