Job summary

iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Engineer to join our Milwaukee, Wisconsin team. This is a remote role for candidates within a 4-hour drive of Milwaukee, with onsite visits to the Milwaukee facility as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.

The role supports ~110 users across North America and requires strong Windows/Microsoft 365 skills, basic networking, and customer-focused service. Compensation is $40–$43 per hour, with travel locally as required.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or MSP experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, networking, and business apps.
• Basic LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and endpoint management knowledge.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to Milwaukee as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 remote IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, networks, software, and basic hardware.
• Support onboarding, software installation, and account setup.
• Monitor and escalate network, firewall, switch, and infra issues.
• Conduct weekly/bi-weekly onsite inspections at Milwaukee facility.
• Provide onsite support for urgent factory IT incidents when required.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and documentation.
• Follow IT support procedures, SLAs, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate with Shanghai IT team for after-hours support.
