Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Senior Director, Portfolio Performance & Project Delivery to translate enterprise technology strategy into a prioritized investment portfolio. Reporting to the CIO, this leader directs enterprise portfolio governance, the IT PMO, program and project delivery standards, resource and capacity planning, dependency management, delivery risk, and benefits realization.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership of enterprise portfolio management, program and project delivery in complex environments.
• Experience developing enterprise portfolio strategies, governance frameworks and roadmaps.
• Deep expertise in portfolio management, governance, budgeting, capacity planning and benefits realization.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory requirements in technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated technology portfolio and enterprise roadmap across programs and initiatives.
• Establish PMO and delivery standards with milestone management and risk controls.
• Define objective measures for schedule, cost, scope, and benefits realization; monitor health.
• Provide enterprise capacity visibility; address over-allocation and skill gaps.
• Maintain an enterprise technology roadmap, identify dependencies across IT domains.
• Collaborate with IT Finance for budgets, forecasts, and investment performance.
• Lead Monthly Operating Review and executive reporting on portfolio performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of portfolio management maturity and delivery discipline.
• Lead and develop a high-performing portfolio and delivery organization.
