Job summary

Green Thumb Industries seeks an IT Operations Engineer to support, troubleshoot, install, and maintain end-user technology and core IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This mid-level role requires ownership of assigned systems and the ability to resolve moderately complex incidents.

The position travels up to 40% and may require after-hours/on-call support; dedicated to sites including FL, NY, PA. Hybrid/remote-friendly in the US.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in IT operations, infrastructure support, or related technical role.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, server, network, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, configure, repair, and maintain PCs, PoS systems, printers, iPads, VoIP phones, and related end-user tech.
• Diagnose hardware, software, peripheral, account, and connectivity issues; document work performed.
• Coordinate equipment deployments, replacements, moves, and lifecycle activities with minimal business disruption.
• Support and maintain server environments, network switches, firewalls, wireless APs, IoT devices, and ISP circuits.
• Perform configuration changes, software installations, firmware updates, patching, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot copper Ethernet and fiber connectivity, wireless coverage, and site interconnectivity.
• Take primary support ownership for assigned systems/locations; escalate complex issues to Senior Engineers.
• Monitor incidents via Freshservice; respond to SolarWinds alerts; assist associates with incidents.
• Coordinate incident responses, communicate status to stakeholders, involve vendors when needed.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, installation records, and knowledge-base articles.
• Travel up to 40% for site support and project work; participate in after-hours/on-call rotations.
