Job summary

Zeitview, Inc. seeks a mid-level IT Engineer to join our Corporate IT team, working remotely from anywhere in the USA. You’ll own core systems, infrastructure and security, and mentor junior IT staff while partnering with IT leadership on projects.

You will design and maintain systems for a fully remote workforce, including cloud services, VPN, and device management, collaborating across Time zones to support distributed teams and drive security improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in IT engineering, systems administration, or related roles.
• Experience administering identity and SaaS platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, M365, MDM tools like Jamf/Intune).
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls) and remote troubleshooting.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud security basics.
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of IT security fundamentals and SOC 2 is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate across time zones in a fully remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer core business systems (identity/SSO, endpoint management, Google Workspace or M365).
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for a fully remote workforce.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and mentor junior staff.
• Manage IT security fundamentals and cooperation with the security team.
• Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with backups and uptime monitoring.
• Lead IT projects end-to-end from scoping to rollout.
• Build automation and scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Maintain up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and SOC 2 controls.
• Collaborate with People, Security, and Engineering teams across time zones.
