Zen Educate Inc. is seeking an IT Operations & Security Lead to own Zen’s internal IT systems and security. You’ll report to the CTO, drive modern IT practice, automation, governance and AI adoption, and scale a security posture across a growing organization.

The role is remote (CT/ET timezones) with collaboration across the West Coast and Europe, and a new hub in Chicago as the company expands. You’ll fix issues today while building scalable, defensible processes for tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Own internal identity and access: Google Workspace, SSO, MFA, groups, permissions and "+least privilege" as a principle.
• Build and maintain IT and security policies, then translate them into working processes, technical controls and training.
• Define and manage security governance, vulnerability management, incident response, audits and evidence for third‑party questionnaires.
