Job summary

Alliance Animal Health, a rapidly growing veterinary services organization, is hiring an IT Director for a fully remote U.S.-based role. You will lead day-to-day IT service delivery, coordinate a co-managed IT partnership with an MSP, and drive strategic technology initiatives across 250+ hospitals.

The position requires senior technical leadership, strong project management, and a customer-first mindset to ensure consistent, high-quality support and alignment with clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience in operations, service delivery, or infrastructure.
• 3+ years in IT leadership or technology team management.
• Experience leading IT operations in multi-site or distributed organizations.
• Experience managing an MSP or co-managed IT relationship.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT support across Alliance Animal Health’s national hospital network.
• Provide leadership for internal IT resources and the co-managed IT service model.
• Monitor ticket queues, escalations, service levels, response times, and CSAT.
• Define service levels, escalation procedures, documentation standards, and engagement with hospital leadership.
• Lead onboarding, security programs, and vendor implementations across the organization.
