Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking an IT Portfolio and Demand Management Specialist to guide IT demand from intake through prioritization, aligning initiatives with strategic goals. The role requires strong collaboration with business and IT leaders to ensure compliant, resourced, and value-driven decisions.

The position supports portfolio governance, risk assessment, and the maintenance of dashboards and reports, leveraging ServiceNow to optimize delivery of IT services and projects.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, business, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of IT or similar experience supporting demand intake, portfolio coordination, or capacity planning.
• Preferred: ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) or related training/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT demand management process from intake to prioritization and alignment with strategy.
• Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, summaries, and scorecards for leadership review.
• Ensure complete, decision-ready business cases with LOE estimates and dependencies.
• Govern risks, regulatory/compliance aspects, and prioritization criteria for new demands.
• Maintain data quality in demand/portfolio tools and track lifecycle progress.
