Job summary

South Jersey Industries is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager to oversee the enterprise IT portfolio, ensuring investments align with strategy and regulatory requirements. You will lead governance, demand management, prioritization, and budgeting efforts across technology initiatives.

The role requires strong experience in portfolio reporting, dashboards, and KPIs, with cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; 12 years of relevant experience.
• Seven years of IT portfolio/program/project management experience.
• Experience overseeing IT portfolios, investment planning, governance, and prioritization processes.
• Experience supporting executive decision-making and technology investment management.
• Experience building portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise IT portfolio to align with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Lead portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and roadmap development across technology initiatives.
• Evaluate proposed initiatives and adjust portfolio based on strategy, risks, and value.
• Oversee demand intake, initiative evaluation, and prioritization processes.
• Facilitate governance forums and create materials for executive decisions.
• Collaborate with finance/tech leaders to develop budgets, business cases, and analyses.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting of portfolio performance.
