Job summary

CIAT is seeking an IT Certification Bootcamp Instructor to lead synchronous online classes in CompTIA Security+ and related IT certification tracks. The role supports adult learners, requires evening/weekend availability, and uses Microsoft Teams for live instruction.

Remote work is allowed from CA, NM, FL, or MA, with campus coordination as needed. Ideal candidates hold current certifications, have teaching or training experience, and can design engaging lesson plans while ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Current certifications in IT security or related cloud technologies.
• Minimum one year of experience delivering IT certification bootcamps.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and curriculum design.
• Familiarity with CertMaster, TestOut or similar training tools is preferred.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with an inclusive approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams, evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Plan instruction to maximize student engagement and align with adult learner needs.
• Ensure certification readiness and alignment with CIAT’s standards.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications in taught subjects and support student success.
