California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT) is seeking a motivated IT Certification Bootcamp Instructor to deliver synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams. The role requires evening and weekend availability and emphasizes aligning instruction with CIAT’s adult learner framework to ensure certification readiness.

The instructor will maintain certifications, develop up-to-date curricula, and collaborate with faculty to support student success in IT bootcamps across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Must hold industry certifications listed in Job Requirements (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator).
• Minimum of one year of training or teaching experience, preferably IT certification bootcamps.
• Strong presentation and instructional design skills for online delivery.

Responsibilities

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams.
• Schedule evenings/weekends based on course roster.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
• Align instructional strategies with CIAT’s adult learner framework and certification readiness.
• Maintain current certifications and stay updated in subject matter.
