Job summary

DataGrail is seeking an IT & Business Systems Manager to own IT for a remote-first organization, shaping endpoint, identity, and application strategy with autonomy. You’ll partner with Security to build ISO-compliant controls, drive automation, and scale self-service tools across the company.

You’ll lead day-to-day IT operations, onboarding/offboarding, and vendor relationships, enabling DataGrail to grow without increasing manual support.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level experience independently owning a distributed, remote-first IT environment.
• Hands-on experience administering MDM platforms (Kandji, Jamf, Hexnode) and Apple hardware/OS in an enterprise setting.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management tools like Okta and compliance requirements.
• Experience building or maturing security and ISO 27001 controls.
• Ability to automate IT workflows with scripting and self-service tools.

Responsibilities

• Own IT and business systems operations for DataGrail's remote workforce, including endpoint management, identity, and SaaS application footprint.
• Deliver hands-on technical support across the company, achieving fast, first-call resolutions.
• Run onboarding/offboarding for device and account lifecycle with smooth experience.
• Partner with Security to maintain ISO compliance controls and audit trails.
• Execute day-to-day security workstreams, tooling rollouts, and access reviews.
• Build automation and self-service tooling to reduce ticket volume while preserving controls.
• Administer Apple fleet end to end, including MDM policy and OS upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships and DataGrail's SaaS vendor management process, ensuring strategic spend.
• Collaborate across functions to help teams self-serve IT needs.
