Job summary

DataGrail, Inc. is seeking an IT & Business Systems Manager to own IT and business systems for a remote-first workforce.

You will manage endpoints, identities, and SaaS applications with autonomy, partnering with Security on ISO compliance and building self-service automation to scale the function. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be the face of technology for DataGrail employees, supporting day-to-day operations and driving the evolution of IT toward proactive, automated services

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience owning a distributed, remote-first IT environment.
• Autonomous decision-making with minimal day-to-day oversight.
• Hands-on experience administering MDM platforms and Apple hardware in an enterprise setting.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (Okta).
• Experience building or maturing security/compliance controls (ISO 27001).
• Automation of IT workflows via scripting or self-service tooling.
• Scripting in Python and using AI tooling for automation.
• Vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own IT and business systems operations for a remote workforce, including endpoint management and SaaS footprint.
• Provide hands-on technical support with fast, first-call resolution.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding and lifecycle provisioning for devices and accounts.
• Collaborate with Security to maintain ISO compliance controls and audit trails.
• Partner with security engineer on day-to-day security workstreams and tooling rollouts.
• Develop automation and self-service tooling to reduce ticket volume while maintaining controls.
• Oversee Apple fleet management from MDM to OS upgrades and hardware lifecycle.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology spend following a formal process.
