Reporting to the CTO, this first dedicated hire on a new Business Systems team will design and implement a scalable IT and security posture that grows with the company.

The role emphasizes governance, automation, and proactive security, from onboarding to ongoing audits, while balancing cost, risk, and mission impact.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Remote role collaborating with teams across time zones.
• Experience implementing IT and security change at scale.
• Experience building governance, automation, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the internal IT environment, including identity, devices, access governance, and tooling across multiple offices.
• Build automation and processes that eliminate recurring manual work in onboarding, offboarding, and access reviews.
• Establish security defaults and continuous evidence collection so audits become routine.
• Evaluate software spend and surface ROI signals for every license.
• Advise the CTO and leadership on modern IT and security practices, including AI tooling adoption.
