Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a fully remote Business Analyst with TBM and Apptio expertise to support cost transparency, planning and reporting for IT investments. You will collaborate with IT and business units to define requirements, develop business cases, and analyze benchmark data to inform leadership decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT or related field and 3 years' experience in information systems with Apptio TBM Studio. Remote-friendly across eligible US states.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of TBM principles and Apptio configuration.
• Experience with cost transparency, planning, reporting and financial management.
• Ability to assess TBM enhancements, AI insights, automation and platform features for TBM improvements.
• Ability to interpret benchmark results and support insights and reporting.
• Strong written and oral communication across all levels.
• Ability to align IT systems with business direction and goals.

Responsibilities

• Support Apptio TBM Studio configuration, maintenance, enhancements, issue resolution, data management and quality controls.
• Support Benchmarking & Survey Management activities, including collection, validation, analysis and timely submission for leadership reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to develop business case and requirements for technology problems.
• Conduct detailed interviews with stakeholders to define functional requirements.
• Create business process mappings showing interdependencies across systems.
• Apply IT and business knowledge to formulate functional requirements for solutions.
• Assist in business relationship management, portfolio/demand management as needed.
• Maintain productive relationships with peers, management and external partners.
