Job summary

IMAGINEEER LLC seeks an IT Acquisitions/FITARA Analyst to support federal agencies in managing IT acquisitions, ensuring FITARA compliance, and improving governance and reporting.

You will work with program managers, contracting officers, and IT leadership to develop acquisition strategies, perform FITARA scorecard analyses, and prepare dashboards and briefings for leadership and oversight bodies. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, IT Management, Public Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of federal IT acquisitions, procurement support, or related program analysis.
• Strong knowledge of FITARA and its impact on IT governance.
• Experience with FAR and agency-specific acquisition policies.
• Familiarity with CPIC, OMB A-11 requirements, and IT investment portfolio mgmt.
• Excellent analytical, research, and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to brief senior federal executives and prepare high-quality reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage IT acquisitions in line with FAR and agency policies.
• Conduct FITARA compliance assessments and provide improvement recommendations.
• Develop acquisition strategies, market research, and cost/benefit analyses.
• Track IT investment portfolios and CPIC integration.
• Prepare FITARA reporting, dashboards, and presentations for leadership, OMB, and oversight.
• Advise on contract types, acquisition methods, and vendor engagement to maximize IT value.
• Coordinate with budget, finance, procurement, and IT teams for timely reporting.
• Provide recommendations for IT governance improvements, risk management and performance tracking.
• Develop training materials to strengthen agency FITARA compliance.
