Imagineeer LLC is seeking a Junior Acquisition Subject Matter Expert to support process, policy, and data analysis on an acquisition transformation project for a federal civilian department. You will work directly with a former federal Contracting Officer and lead data-remediation analysis for the pilot, helping modernize acquisition practices as part of the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of federal acquisition, contract specialist, or business analyst experience.
  • Working knowledge of the FAR and acquisition documentation.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including Excel and data quality review.
  • Ability to pass the client's contractor security vetting and obtain and maintain a PIV credential.

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory and policy alignment reviews as the checkpoint's supporting role.
  • Perform process analysis and document acquisition workflows.
  • Lead data-remediation analysis for pilot readiness.
  • Document AI-enabled tool capabilities and behavior.
  • Support redundancy, gap, and market research analyses.
  • Support acquisition data standardization analysis for future dashboards and automated reporting.
  • Work with AMS/PRISM, the client's contract writing and acquisition management environment
  • Acquisition systems of record: FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, and CPARS
  • Acquisition reporting: the Service Contract Inventory and FAIR Act Inventory

Job description

Imagineeer is seeking a Junior Acquisition Subject Matter Expert to support process, policy, and data analysis on an acquisition transformation engagement for a federal civilian department. You will work directly with a former federal Contracting Officer and lead data-remediation analysis for the pilot. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career acquisition professional to work on modernization under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support regulatory and policy alignment reviews as the checkpoint's supporting role.
  • Perform process analysis and document acquisition workflows.
  • Lead data-remediation analysis for pilot readiness.
  • Document AI-enabled tool capabilities and behavior.
  • Support redundancy, gap, and market research analyses.
  • Support acquisition data standardization analysis for future dashboards and automated reporting.
