Job summary

IBSS Corp. is seeking an Acquisition Support Specialist in Silver Spring, MD, to manage FITARA submissions, IT investments, and IT asset records for MACC. The role requires a NOAA public trust background and on-site work three days per week.

The candidate will develop SOWs and IGCEs, help route acquisition documents through approval chains, and ensure compliance with FAR/CFR and DOC regulations across IT acquisitions nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, IT, or acquisition.
• 3+ years of federal IT acquisition support experience (FAR and Commerce processes).
• Experience developing requirements, SOWs, IGCEs, and market research for IT products/services.
• Experience with FITARA, IT investment review, or CIO approval processes.
• Experience with IT configuration, change, or asset management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage, track, and review FITARA submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Obtain required signatures from OMAO IT Security Office and 508 Program Manager.
• Prepare ITIA document for acquisitions below $10M threshold.
• Coordinate with ACIO after IRB approval and route final approvals.
• Support acquisitions above $3,500 in compliance with FAR, CFR, and DOC regulations.
• Develop requirements, budgets, SOWs, IGCEs; conduct market research.
• Research vendors, evaluate products/services, and recommend options.
• Support IT Security, SCRM, and SIAs with vendor risk analyses and reviews.
• Create and route Requirements Workspaces and PRISM requisitions.
• Coordinate vendor delivery and track IT assets and licenses.
• Support change/configuration management and track changes.
