Job summary

Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation seeks an experienced Acquisition Analyst to provide direct support to our government customer. The ideal candidate excels at interpreting FAR/DFARS, multitasking, meeting deadlines, and communicating professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include developing acquisition packages, tracking milestones, and advising on contracting matters across various contract types, including IDIQ, CPFF, and FFP, with a Top Secret clearance

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree.
• 10+ years of direct, relevant experience in cradle to grave DoD contracting.
• Extensive knowledge of contracting for major systems, R&D, and complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies.
• Experience writing and staffing pre-award and post-award contract documentation.
• Robust knowledge of IDIQ, CPFF, and FFP contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have an in-scope Top Secret security clearance.

You must be proficient at interpreting and applying laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures governing federal acquisitions, particularly in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, prioritizing deadlines, and communicating professionally.

Required

• Extensive knowledge of contracting for a variety of products and services for major systems, research and development (R&D), and/or complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in writing and staffing pre-award and post award related contract documentation
• Possess a robust knowledge of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contracts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have an in-scope Top Secret security clearance

Desired

• Acquisition Career Field Certifications (FAC-C Professional or DAWIA Level III)
• Direct experience as a Federal Contracting Officer
