Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Information System Security Manager to lead cyber defense for a classified cloud environment supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This role is primarily remote with on-site support at Dark Wolf hubs in Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• RMF subject matter expertise.
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment.
• Extensive experience with SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, CrowdStrike.
• Experience with infrastructure and cloud security tools including Terraform/Ansible, Github.
• At least one of CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP.
• Strong DoD and Air Force RMF experience.
• Proficiency with a major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, and incident handling.
• Ensure readiness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and reporting.
• Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver analytical products.
• Maximize utility of security tools to correlate data into actionable intelligence.
• Drive agile automation to eliminate manual inefficiencies in cyber defense.
