Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Information System Security Manager to lead cyber defense and RMF efforts for a classified cloud environment. The role supports remote work from specified hubs and requires U.S. citizenship with an active security clearance.

Responsibilities include incident handling, architecture optimization, and data-driven reporting while coordinating with DoD and sponsor staff to achieve Authority to Operate readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in information security.
• Expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD programs.
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in varied environments.
• Extensive experience with SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK, CrowdStrike.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud security tools: Terraform/Ansible, Github.
• At least one of: CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP; U.S. Citizenship with active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, and incident handling.
• Ensure readiness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and reporting.
• Manage incident response operations and deliver actionable analytics.
• Maximize utility of security tools to correlate information into actionable intelligence.
• Drive automation to eliminate manual inefficiencies in cyber defense.
