Job summary

BuddoBot Inc. seeks an Information System Security Manager to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate for a classified cloud environment. This mostly remote role supports a Dark Wolf Hub in Tampa, FL and other US locations.

Key responsibilities include directing cyber defense operations, refining incident handling, and delivering actionable intelligence. Requires 10+ years, RMF expertise, DoD experience, top-tier cloud/SIEM tools, and US citizenship with a security clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Subject Matter Expert in Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment.
• Experience with SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, CrowdStrike.
• Experience with Infrastructure and Cloud Security tools including Terraform/Ansible, Github.
• One of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP.
• Strong DoD and Air Force RMF experience.
• Proficient with major cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, incident handling, and reporting lifecycle.
• Ensure operational readiness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and situational awareness reporting.
• Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable analyses.
• Maximize utility of security tools to correlate information and synthesize data.
• Drive agile automation initiatives to eliminate manual inefficiencies in cyber defense.
