Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Information System Security Manager to lead the Air Force lifecycle program for obtaining and maintaining an Authority to Operate on a classified cloud environment. The position is primarily remote with support from Dark Wolf Hubs in Herndon, VA and other U.S.

locations. You will direct cyber defense operations, refine security architectures, manage incident response, and ensure readiness of agency IT systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in information security and defense programs.
• SME in Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, or CrowdStrike.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud security tools like Terraform and Ansible; GitHub.
• DoD/Air Force RMF experience; cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Business, or related field; U.S. Citizenship with active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, and incident handling.
• Ensure the operational readiness and effectiveness of Agency IT systems and network defenses.
• Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable analytics.
• Maximize the utility of security tools to correlate data into actionable intelligence.
• Drive agile automation to eliminate manual inefficiencies in cyber defense.
