Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Information System Security Manager to lead cyber defense efforts for a classified cloud environment. The role supports remote work with hubs in Herndon, VA and other U.S. locations.

The candidate must have DoD RMF experience, a security clearance, and strong SIEM/cloud security skills. You will guide incident response, optimize architectures, and ensure readiness of IT systems. A US citizenship and active clearance are required, with a salary range of $145,000–$175,000

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Subject Matter Expertise in RMF.
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment.
• Experience with SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, CrowdStrike.
• Experience with infra and cloud security tools including Terraform/Ansible, GitHub.
• CISSP/CSSLP/CASP+ or similar certification.
• Strong DoD and Air Force RMF experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, incident handling, and reporting.
• Ensure operational readiness of Agency IT systems and network defenses.
• Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable intelligence.
• Maximize tool utility to correlate information and produce actionable insights.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and speed up mission timelines.
