Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Information System Security Manager to support Air Force Life Cycle Management Center initiatives. The role is primarily remote with hubs in Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities include directing cyber defense effectiveness, refining architectures and incident handling, ensuring IT system readiness, managing incident response, and driving automation to maximize time-to-mission.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Risk Management Framework.
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment.
• Experience with one or more SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, Crowdstrike.
• Experience with infrastructure and cloud security tools including Terraform/Ansible, Github.
• Bachelor's degree as stated.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Proficient with a major cloud services platform (GCP, Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, incident handling, and reporting lifecycle.
• Ensure the operational readiness and effectiveness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and situational awareness reporting.
• Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable, high-impact analytical products.
• Maximize the utility of existing security tools to correlate disparate information and synthesize data into actionable intelligence.
• Drive agile automation initiatives to eliminate manual inefficiencies across the cyber defense program.
