Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney to support a confidential AI project. This remote, US-based contractor role focuses on reviewing agreements, redlines, and providing legal analysis to train and evaluate AI systems.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, 4+ years in transactional law, and strong expertise in commercial contracts, including liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection. Prior tech transactions experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 4+ years of transactional legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract provisions, including limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and contract review skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgment.
• Experience in technology transactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Analyze contracts and apply established playbooks and company positions.
• Draft clear explanations supporting redlines and revisions.
• Apply contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions expertise.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain consistent legal standards.
• Ensure accuracy and high-quality legal writing.
• Work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
