Nelson Mullins seeks a Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist to join its Litigation Docketing Department. You will calendar federal, state, and agency matters, review documents, and train junior staff under the Docketing Manager and Coordinator.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of docketing experience, strong legal research skills, and a deep understanding of federal and state court practices. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and mentorship within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of docketing experience in a law firm setting.
• Extensive knowledge of litigation lifecycle, court rules, and procedures in federal and state courts.
• Strong ability to compute deadlines across jurisdictions and summarize information clearly.
• Proficiency with rules-based calendaring software, especially CompuLaw Vision; Milana is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently calendar firm litigation matters with minimal supervision and high accuracy.
• Respond to attorney requests and ensure deadlines and rules are met.
• Conduct jurisdictional research and provide comprehensive summaries to case teams.
