Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Investor Reporting Analyst to produce monthly accounting reports for assigned investors, analyze results, and ensure timely compliance with servicing agreements.

You’ll coordinate with mortgage servicing teams, prepare and remit funds, and forecast principal and interest advances for securitizations. This role offers a remote, home-based work arrangement.

Starting pay ranges $31-$36 per hour, with opportunities for progression within a growing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of related investor accounting and reporting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute daily and monthly loan-level reports for trustees (e.g., Loan Modification Report, REO Liquidation Gains/Losses, Stop Advancing Report).
• Balance cash received against cash remitted; track advances.
• Prepare wire transfers to remit funds to investors.
• Forecast monthly principal and interest advances for securitization; ensure reports meet servicing agreements timelines.
• Review payment history and postings to balance cash activity.
• Maintain reporting system for changes in scheduled balances, stop codes, and reinstated loans.
• Analyze remittance differences to maintain cash in custodial accounts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
