Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Investor Reporting Analyst to generate monthly investor reports, analyze results, and ensure timely completion in line with servicing agreements. The role involves coordinating with mortgage servicing departments, reviewing payment histories, and reconciling remittances to maintain custodial cash.

Starting pay ranges between $31 and $36 per hour, with remote work from home options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• One to two years of related experience, including investor accounting and reporting, required.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements required.
• Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Creates and distributes daily and monthly loan-level reports to appropriate trustee.
• Balances cash received against cash remitted including advance activity tracking and balancing.
• Remits funds to investors to meet servicing agreements by preparing wire transfers.
• Forecasts principal and interest advances for securitization on a monthly basis.
• Reviews payment history and system postings to balance cash activity and roll forward balances.
• Maintains the reporting system of all changes of scheduled principal balances and reinstated loans.
• Reviews the pool-to-security reconciliation for discrepancies and corrections.
• Analyzes remittance differences between investor accounting reports and remittance reports.
