Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services seeks an Investor Reporting Analyst to generate monthly accounting reports for assigned investors, analyze results, and ensure accurate, timely reporting in accordance with servicing agreements. You’ll coordinate with mortgage servicing teams, review investor guidelines and regulatory requirements, and prepare reports such as reconciliation, cash activity, and remittance tracking.

Starting pay ranges from $31 to $36 per hour, with remote-friendly work options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience in investor accounting and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate on solutions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule.
• Strong numerical and reporting accuracy skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute daily and monthly loan-level reports to trustees.
• Balance cash receipts and remittances, track advances.
• Prepare wire transfers to remit funds to investors.
• Forecast principal and interest advances monthly using servicing agreements.
• Review payment history and system postings for accuracy.
• Maintain reporting system for changes to balances and loan status.
• Analyze remittance differences and reconcile to custodial accounts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
