Job summary

BMO Investment Services is seeking an Investment Service Specialist to deliver superior service for clients’ accounts. You will handle inquiries, assist with account maintenance, and refer opportunities to Financial Advisors to grow the business.

In this remote role, you will manage trades, transfers, and documentation, supported by CRM tools. A 2–3 year service background and securities licenses are required, with a US-wide scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years customer service in financial planning, securities, or insurance.
• SIE, Series 7, 66 (or 65/63) required; Series 65 within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of markets and investment products.
• High integrity (Clean U-4) and solid regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails professionally to assist clients.
• Execute trades on client accounts per requests (mutual funds, brokerage products).
• Assist with account openings and maintenance and document completion.
• Provide information on accounts, products, and transaction status.
• Support online trade execution and basic technical assistance as needed.
• Maintain client records and use CRM to track activities.
• Identify referral opportunities to Financial Advisors during conversations.
