Job summary

Industrial Commission of Arizona is seeking an Investigator 3 to conduct retaliation investigations under the ADOSH state plan. You will perform complex investigations to determine compliance with ARS §23-425, including on-site interviews and evidence gathering.

The position offers possible remote work within Arizona based on business needs and performance; the agency emphasizes flexibility, autonomy, and trust and supports the State Remote Work Program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act and standards.
• Experience or training in whistleblower investigations or regulatory investigations.
• Ability to conduct on-site interviews and collect evidence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine ARS 23-425 compliance via on-site interviews and evidence collection.
• Handle initial intakes on discrimination complaints and prepare written communications.
• Maintain ongoing correspondence with complainants and respondents.
• Evaluate data and advise whether a violation occurred and if ICA Legal Division should pursue.
