Job summary

ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING is seeking an Investigator for the Office of Manufactured Housing to conduct investigations of unlicensed activities and licensee audits, prepare legal documents, and enforce regulations. The role supports HUD State Administrative Agency tasks and other duties as assigned.

Remote work within Arizona may be possible, with in-office hoteling required based on business needs and performance measures. Occasional commuting to the Phoenix office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience working with statutory requirements for a regulatory agency.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and perform field investigations against licensees and non-licensed individuals to determine violations to statutes or rules.
• Enter and investigate premises where units regulated by OMH are manufactured, sold or installed, to ensure compliance with standards and rules.
• Visit properties and coordinate with consumers, licensees and contractors to assess consumer complaint items and prepare legal documents.
