Job summary

Hatch seeks a Logistics Contractor to support omnichannel distribution across the US and Canada. This remote-friendly, six-month contract handles inbound freight, landed costs, and inventory reconciliation while the team member is on leave. You'll report to the Director of Operations and collaborate with Sourcing, Inventory Planning, Channel Management, and Accounting.

This role is remote-friendly but based in the U.S. or Canada, with hours aligned to PST/PDT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, ideally in consumer electronics or CPG.
• Hands-on experience running international ocean and air freight and resolving shipment exceptions.
• Direct experience with Amazon inbound programs—Seller Central, FBA, AWD.
• Working knowledge of customs and trade compliance: HTS, documentation, CBP requests.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day international inbound freight execution across Flexport and Amazon Global Logistics.
• Publish recurring shipment updates to the supply chain team for planning and visibility.
• Coordinate customs clearance, HTS, and CBP responses.
• Create and reconcile Netsuite transactions for freight movements.
• Own month-end inventory reconciliation across locations.
• Escalate 3PL and forwarder SLA misses and manage related disputes.
