Job summary

Babylist is seeking a Logistics/Inbound Manager to own on-time delivery performance and costs for shipments from world-wide vendors into our fulfillment centers. You’ll lead carrier relationships across five freight modes, drive contract negotiations with procurement, and build dashboards with Product and Engineering to replace manual tracking.

You’ll work remotely with roughly 15% travel, including quarterly visits to fulfillment centers, and bring deep international freight experience,

Qualifications

• Deep international trade experience across ocean and air freight, including customs documentation and trade compliance.
• Proven carrier negotiator across LTL, TL, Intermodal, Ocean, and Air, including contract terms and quarterly business reviews.
• Track record of moving an underperforming on-time delivery metric, not just reporting on it.
• Fluent in TMS platforms, carrier portals, invoice auditing tools, and appointment scheduling systems.
• Comfortable building your own views in Sigma, Snowflake, or equivalent rather than waiting on someone else’s report.
• You're genuinely excited about AI and want to apply it daily in logistics.

Responsibilities

• On-time delivery — own inbound on-time delivery performance for all vendors to fulfillment centers.
• Carrier management — lead carrier relationships, contract negotiations, and quarterly business reviews across five freight modes.
• Freight cost and invoicing — validate freight invoices, audit carrier charges, and manage transportation chargebacks.
• Vendor delivery accountability — run the vendor portal for shipment visibility and coordinate with Vendor Compliance on lead times.
• Planning alignment — coordinate PO ETAs and delivery windows with Planning and Buying.
• Automation and reporting — partner with Product and Engineering to build dashboards and automated workflows to replace manual tracking.
• Inbound strategy — build carrier performance baselines and shape inbound roadmap as volume grows.
