Job summary

Veterans EZ Info Inc is seeking an experienced InterSystems IRIS Developer for a 100% remote role supporting VA healthcare modernization. You will develop and sustain IRIS/Caché and ObjectScript solutions for VistA data migration to Oracle Health, with emphasis on data transformation and system integration.

Join a collaborative Agile/DevOps team working with VA stakeholders and contractors. Residence within the continental US is required; occasional after-hours work may occur to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, with 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on ObjectScript development experience with IRIS/Caché.
• Experience designing REST APIs, web services, and enterprise data-processing solutions.
• Experience in production environments with Agile, DevOps/CI/CD, and version control practices.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and sustain IRIS/Caché and ObjectScript applications, including VX130 data migration support.
• Analyze VistA data structures and database objects to design reliable enhancements and data-processing solutions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations per VA patterns.
• Perform testing, troubleshoot defects, optimize performance, and support production sustainment activities.
• Contribute to code reviews, maintain technical docs, and support CI/CD tooling and version control.
