Job summary
VetsEZ is hiring an InterSystems IRIS/Caché Database Administrator for a 100% remote role supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project for VA DMM and EHRM. The role requires residency in the continental US and involves managing mission-critical database environments across Development, Test, Staging, and Production.
You will work with VA staff, Oracle Health, and cross-functional teams, potentially supporting deployments, upgrades, and after-hours operations to ensure
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on database administration experience.
- Significant experience with InterSystems Caché and/or IRIS.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting replication, backup, and high-availability.
Responsibilities
- Administer, sustain, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot InterSystems IRIS and Caché databases across environments.
- Monitor mirror and data transmission, data quality, and HA configurations.
- Plan capacity, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring for availability.
- Execute and validate backup/recovery activities and recovery testing.
- Support InterSystems IRIS on Linux in various environments and collaborate cross-functionally.
