Job summary

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Senior Developer (MUMPS) for our client, with a remote, work-from-home arrangement. You will contribute to secure, reliable software across the full lifecycle within VA health IT programs.

You will design and implement VistA/MUMPS or InterSystems IRIS solutions, review legacy code, and collaborate with analysts and VA stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of VistA, MUMPS, Cache/IRIS or comparable health IT development experience.
• Hands-on experience with MUMPS and VistA conventions, data structures, interfaces, testing, and production support.
• Experience with patch creation and the VistA patch release, packaging, installation, and verification process.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support VistA/MUMPS or InterSystems IRIS solutions and components.
• Analyze existing code and workflows, implement maintainable enhancements, and preserve VistA conventions.
• Support database and interface changes, patch creation, packaging, installation, and verification.
